Police Investigate Deadly Shooting In Pemberton Township, New Jersey

BROWNS MILLS, N.J. (CBS) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating the shooting death of a man outside his Pemberton Township home.
According to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, the incident happened at about 11 p.m. outside a residence in the 700 block of Lakehurst Drive.
The prosecutor's office says Louis Sweet, 36, was shot twice when he walked out of his house and was approached by several masked suspects.
Sweet was taken to Deborah Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:59 p.m.
Several other residents, including the victim's children, were inside the home at the time of the shooting and escaped injury. A dog was struck by a stray bullet and wounded.
So far, police do not have a motive and say no arrests have been made.
The Burlington County prosecutor is assisting Pemberton Twp. Police in the investigation.
