Police Investigate Deadly Hit-And-Run In Northern Liberties
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run in the city's Northern Liberties neighborhood.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday along the 900 block of Delaware Avenue.
Police say a 24-year-old man was running across the street, heading toward the Roxxy Nightclub, when he was struck and killed by a dark-colored SUV.
Authorities say the driver of the striking vehicle fled north of Delaware Avenue.
Police say they do not have anybody in custody at this time, however, they have located the vehicle in the 2600 block of Elkhart Street in the Port Richmond section of the city.
