Police Investigate Another Kensington Assault
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police special victims unit is investigating another sexual assault in Kensington which took place late Monday night.
The incident involved a 41-year-old woman who was attacked near Frankford and Allegheny and police have not yet determined whether this incident is connected with other recent incidents.
Detectives say they do not have anyone in custody and have not disclosed whether strangulation or weapons were involved but they say the victim did not require hospitalization.
Police are citing similarities in all of the recent attacks. However, they won't say if the last two have been positively linked to the same attacker who is said to be a male in his 20's with dark complexion and is about 5'7 and weighing in at 170 pounds.
