Police Investigate 3 Overnight Burglaries In Radnor Township

RADNOR TWP., Pa., (CBS) -- Radnor Police are increasing patrols and alerting neighbors after three overnight burglaries in three homes, blocks away from each other, in the Garrett Hill section of the township.
Lt. Chris Flanagan says between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. a burglar or burglars slipped into the homes through first floor doors and windows, taking laptops, phones and purses, while residents were sleeping upstairs.
He added officers are especially concerned that there could be a confrontation and he urged neighbors never to challenge an intruder.
Police hope residents who may have seen something suspicious may help them come up with a description and whether they may have used a vehicle to go from one home to another.
Residents of the close-knit neighborhood say they will now keep an extra close watch on their homes and each other.
