Police Investigate 2 Separate Shootings In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating two separate shootings that happened early Sunday morning in West and South Philadelphia.
Police say they found an injured 28-year-old male in his car in South Philadelphia around 2:52 a.m.
According to investigators, the victim says he was chased by males in a white vehicle that rear ended him at 15th and Webster Streets.
Allegedly, one of the males exited the white vehicle and shot through the front window of the victim's car. The suspects then fled the scene in the white vehicle, says police.
Officials say a white Pontiac with heavy front end damage was found at 1300 S. Cleveland Street.
The victim suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.
Officials also report that three men were shot during a shooting at the Gold Coast Lounge located on the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia around 3 a.m.
Investigators say a fight broke out on the second floor of the lounge, before spilling down onto the first floor where the shooting occurred.
The victims, ages 18, 19 and 20, were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
