Police In Delaware Searching For Suspect In Cold Case Burglary
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Investigators in Delaware are asking for the public's help in capturing a suspect wanted for a cold case burglary that occurred nearly two years ago.
The robbery happened May 13, 2009 at the Stanton Liquors store on W. Newport Pike in Wilmington.
According to police, the suspect entered the store through a boarded up window. He then took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store in a small unknown make and model pickup truck that was occupied by a second male.
The suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years of age, 5'8"-5'10" tall, 140 lbs. with an average build. At the time of the burglary, he was wearing a black sweater, dark shoes and a black wave cap. He was also carrying a black book bag with a green logo on the outside of it.
