Police: Good Samaritan Attacked, Stabs Attempted Robbery Suspect In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A teenage suspect who allegedly tried to rob a disabled man with two other teens is in the hospital after police say he was stabbed by a Good Samaritan Tuesday evening, according to police.
It happened near 29th and Dauphin streets in North Philadelphia a little before 6 p.m.
Authorities say three armed teenagers tried to rob the man in a wheelchair and his wife when another man intervened.
Police say moments later, the three teenagers attacked the man. That's when police say, the man stabbed one of the teenagers with a knife.
The teen is in critical condition at Hahnemann University Hospital. There is no word on the man's condition.
Authorities say the disabled man and his wife were uninjured.
