Police: Gas Station Robbed By Man Armed With Rifle In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the armed robbery of a gas station overnight in North Philadelphia.
It happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Exxon station in the 3100 block of North Broad Street.
Police say the suspect robbed the clerk with a rifle, possibly an AK-47.
There was no immediate word on what was taken and there were no initial arrests.
According to the owner, the same gas station was robbed just a few days earlier.
