Police: Special-Needs Student Injured After Brick Thrown Into School Bus In West Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A special-needs student was injured after a brick was thrown into a school bus in Philadelphia Monday, police say.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at N. 47th and Aspen Streets in West Philadelphia.
Police say a bus was carrying nine special-needs students from the School of the Future.
A group of six kids were at the corner, and police say they picked up some bricks and launched them at the bus, one of them breaking through a window.
Investigators say the shattered glass got in a 20-year-old student's face, in particular her eyes.
Police were called and the injured student was taken to the hospital. Authorities say the victim was treated and released.
Police say they are searching for approximately six kids who fled the scene shortly after the brick was thrown.
Police say they have surveillance tape, but need to hear from anyone who may have been around 47th and Aspen Streets or know the kids involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
