Police Locate 1-Year-Old Girl Abducted From South Jersey Daycare
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ. (CBS) -- Police in Gloucester Township, New Jersey say they have located a 1-year-old girl who was abducted from a daycare Wednesday evening.
Authorities say 19-month-old Anyla Moore of Pine Hill was found safe and unharmed around 10:30 p.m. at a residence in the 400 block of Lexington Avenue in Pennsauken.
Police say the girl was picked up at Clementon KinderCare along Broadacres Drive in Clementon by her biological father who is not authorized to pick her up.
When the girl's mother arrived at the daycare just before 6 p.m., she was told that 22-year old Angelo Davis had picked up the child about one hour earlier. The mother called police fearing that her daughter was in danger because of Davis' violent past, and possible drug use. Davis also has a history of mental health issues.
Davis was arrested and charged with Interference of Custody and was being remanded to Camden County Jail in lieu if $7,500.00 bail.
The child has been reunited with her mother.
