Police: Escaped Prisoner In Burlington County In Custody

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (CBS) - Police say they have captured the Burlington County prisoner who escaped in handcuffs Saturday morning.

Authorities were bringing Michael Mimms into Burlington County jail when he slipped away.

Police say Mimms escaped into downtown Mount Holly. In addition to being handcuffed, he was also not wearing any shoes when he got away.

Mimms is facing charges of Unlawful Handgun Possession in Delaware County.
