Police ID Delaware County Serial Robber

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) - Police believe Charles Kenney is the suspect wanted for several armed robberies in Delaware County.
The robberies started October 19th (see related story), and with two more Tuesday night, Kenney is suspected in eight robberies.
Police say he tried his luck at three different Swiss Farms stores but only came away with cash -- about $300 -- from the Broomall store on West Chester Pike.
Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says the suspect, believed to be in his 20s, appears to fit the profile of a drug user. He's pulled a knife at a few places and now is showing a gun.
"We're trying to do a full-court press to get this guy off the street before somebody gets hurt," Chitwood said. "When these guys start escalating and they need money for drugs, anything is capable of happening."
"The best thing he can do right now, and I'm telling him, surrender, because we're gonna kick his door in and we're going to take him and his accomplice. We think he's in a car, and we think he's with a white female."
That car, Chitwood says, is a dark four door sedan. Police are offering a $2,000 reward for his capture.
