Philadelphia (CBS) – The search continues for two people who gunned down a store owner right in front of his wife and baby girl.
Saturday night the community turned out to mourn the loss of the Tacony businessman.
Neighbors in Tacony gathered for a candle light vigil to remember the owner of Jin House, a c on the corner of Longshore Avenue and Tulip Street.
On Friday night, police say, two masked men walked into the store demanding money. While the owner's wife was shielding her baby, one gunman shot the 27-year-old store owner in the chest.
"It's a real shame, because they were great people," said Ashley Doherty, who knew the victim.
She says the owner was friendly to all of his customers and always willing to lend a helping hand.
"All you had to do was come over and ask him, can I borrow some money, I'll pay you back, and it would be no problem," said Doherty.
As family and friends mourn the loss of a beloved neighbor, police are reviewing surveillance video in hopes of finding the perpetrators, who were last seen going north on Tulip Street.
Investigators say the gunmen didn't take any cash after the shooting. Police have not released the name of the victim although family and friends have identified him as Xiang Huang.
