Police Arrest Two Suspects For Montgomery County Home Invasion
TOWAMENCIN Twp., Pa. (CBS)--On Saturday October 19th, the Towamencin Township Police Department investigated a reported home invasion robbery in the 600 block of Chadbourne Court.
During the robbery, a resident and a visiting family member were bound with "zip ties" and held inside the residence while four individuals removed electronic devices, cash and other valuables.
A subsequent joint investigation by members of the Towamencin Township Police Department and the Philadelphia Police Department led to the identification of two suspects, both of whom reside in Philadelphia.
The victims positively identified the suspects from a police lineup and warrants were issued for their arrest.
On Tuesday October 22nd, 26-year-old Phrira Sream and 24-year-old Phereourn Sream, both of the 5500 block of N. Fairhill St. in Philadelphia, were taken into custody and charged with Robbery and related offenses.
A search warrant executed on their residence resulted in recovery of stolen property taken during the home invasion.
Phrira Sream and Phereourn Sream were transported to Towamencin Township Police Headquarters pending arraignment.
Phrira Sream and Phereourn Sream were each committed to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $500,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is set for December 5th.
