Police: Arrest Made in Christmas Morning CVS Robbery
HAVERFORD Twp., Pa., (CBS) – Haverford Township Police say an arrest has been made in the robbery of a CVS Pharmacy on Christmas morning.
It happened at the CVS Pharmacy at the 1100 block of West Chester Pike (See Related Story).
Detectives from Lower Merion Police Department had a person in custody for felony retail theft at the Lord & Taylor store on City Line Avenue and believed he fit the description of the suspect in the CVS robbery.
Haverford Township detectives responded to Lower Merion police station and interviewed the suspect, identified by police as Willie Wayne Terry, of Philadelphia. According to police, Terry confessed to committing the CVS robbery.
Police say warrant for his arrest was obtained, charging him with Robbery, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Instruments of Crime.
