Police: Armed Man Barricades Himself Inside Port Richmond Building
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A man armed with a rifle barricaded himself inside a building in the city's Port Richmond neighborhood Monday afternoon, according to authorities.
A little before 4 p.m., Philadelphia police and a SWAT team responded to the scene in the 3200 block of Frankford Avenue after a witness reported seeing a man brandishing a weapon through a window on the third floor of the building.
Officers worked to remove all uninvolved occupants safely out of the building.
No injuries were reported.
