Police: AC Fire Captain Captures, Subdues Home Invasion Suspect
ATLANTIC CITY (CBS) -- Police say an Atlantic City fire captain came home to find a man had broken into his house.
The incident happened on Wednesday, Feb. 8 on Delta Avenue in Atlantic City.
Authorities say Captain Silvester Fonville was able to restrain and subdue the suspect until police arrived and arrested him.
Police identified the man as Richard Barber, from Pleasantville.
Barber is charged with burglary, robbery, criminal attempted theft and contempt for two outstanding warrants.
