POLICE: 9,000 Grams of Marijuana, 44 Bottles Of Steroids Seized From Wilmington House
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A 44-year-old male was arrested by New Castle County police for allegedly growing marijuana in his home.
Police say after they responded to East 44th Street in Penrose for a domestic incident, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana and saw marijuana plants growing in the home after the front door opened when it was knocked on by an officer.
Through further investigation, police say they found a second room with growing marijuana plants.

Authorities say that the suspect, 44-year-old Robert Stultz of Wilmington, had been living at the home located on East 44th Street and had a previous address on the 600 block of Centerville Road where an active investigation by the New Castle County Drug Control Squad was underway.
According to police, the Drug Control Squad found about 9,000 grams of marijuana including 95 growing marijuana plants and 2.4 lbs of marijuana in four zip lock bags, 44 bottles of liquid steroids, about 200 hypodermic needles, a marijuana grow tent with pots and grow lights.
Police say that the United State Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force responded to the Budget Inn, located on Memorial Drive in New Castle, where Stultz was taken into custody.
Stultz has been charged with a felony count of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and manufactures, delivers, or possesses with intent to deliver marijuana.
He was arraigned and placed in Howard R. Young Correctional Institute after failing to post bail.
