Police: 70-Year-Old Man Shot In Leg During Attempted Robbery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police say a 70-year-old man is hospitalized after he was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery Thursday night in Kingsessing.
The incident was reported around 8 p.m. at the 5600 block of Warrington Street.
The victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is listed in stable condition.
Police say nothing was taken from the victim.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are investigating.
