Police: Approximately $500K Of Jewelry Stolen In Smash-And-Grab Theft At AC Casino
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., (CBS) – Police say approximately $500,000 of jewelry was stolen in a smash-and-grab theft at an Atlantic City casino Monday night.
Atlantic City Police say they responded to a call from security at about 8:45 p.m. to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
According to investigators, three male suspects broke into a jewelry case at a store at the casino. Authorities say approximately $500,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.
The suspects are described as three black males, one suspect wearing a blue jacket. A second suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a third suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket.
Police say the suspects fled on foot and entered a dark colored vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
