Suspects Posed As Utility Workers Target North Philadelphia Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say four men posing as utility workers targeted a North Philadelphia home Thursday night.
The incident was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. at the 400 block of W. Sedgley Street.
Police say when a 67-year-old man answered a knock on his door at least four suspects, dressed as PGW workers, pushed their way in.
According to investigators, they tied up and pistol whipped the man and a 54-year-old woman.
Police say they were robbed of $350 and their cell phones.
Both victims are recovering from the injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
