Police: 25-Year-Old Woman Shot In Head In Selbyville
SELBYVILLE, Del., (CBS) – Police say a 25-year-old woman was shot in the head early Tuesday morning in Selbyville.
It happened around 3:20 a.m. at the unit block of Hosier Street.
Selbyville Police responded to a 911 call and found the victim sitting outside a car in front of a home.
Investigators say an 18-year-old male was taken into custody by police at the scene.
The victim was flown by state police helicopter to Christiana Medical Center where she is currently listed in critical condition.
Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives were contacted by Selbyville Police to assume the investigation into this incident.
Detectives are continuing their investigation by conducting interviews and collecting evidence at the crime scene.
