Please Touch Museum Celebrates Huge Milestone

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia celebrated their three-millionth visitor on Wednesday.
That visitor was Monica Cireno of Massachusetts.
Cireno, a former East Falls native, came with her family -- a crew of 14 adults and kids.

"So we all met here, that was our plan and we did not know that we were gonna be the three-millionth visitors," she said. " So this is all very exciting!"
The youngest in her group was her sister's twins:
"My sister Brenna has seven-week old twin girls and this was her first big outing with her new baby twins."
Lynn McMaster, interim president and CEO of the museum says it's important to recognize those who support the museum:
"So that we can let our visitors know how much we value them and that we recognize the support that they're giving us while they're here visiting repetitively."

And McMaster says the celebration to thank their three-millionth visitor came at the right time -- a day before Thanksgiving.
"It was so perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything better."
McMaster adds they've had a tremendous amount of visitors since their relocation to their new building five years ago.
