Player Style Files: Tour Professional Lax Player Paul Rabil's Mancave
Professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil is all business, both on and off the field. The 2011 Steinfeld Cup champion, nicknamed “PR,” “Rabes,” and “The Beast from the East” throughout his career, is sponsored by Warrior Sports. Together, the two have teamed up to create a custom stick for Paul.
The stick offers a unique design that “allows for a better feel on your cradle and a harder shot,” according to Rabil.
Rabil is just as serious about his game when he is not playing. He partnered with DIY’s Mancave when he bought his first home last year. His basement has been transformed into his very own getaway, but it isn’t all fun and games. Down there, Rabil keeps his own office to help continue to build his own brand.
While Rabil’s state-of-the-art basement sure is something to look at, it is not what he is most proud of.
“I am most proud of winning a world championship in 2010 on Team USA,” Rabil said. “There is no prouder moment than representing your country.”
Lacrosse has consumed Rabil’s life, which is why even when he walks away from the sport he will continue to endorse it.
“When I’m done playing I want to continue helping perform from an entrepreneurial standpoint and building and creating successful companies that are helping the sport continue to supplement its growth but also lower the barrier to enter into lacrosse,” Rabil said.
