Philly Suburbs Continue To Deal With Damage Caused By Hurricane Sandy

TRAPPE, Pa (CBS) -- The clean-up continued across the region on Thursday as hundreds of thousands were still without power.
Across Bucks and Montgomery Counties, huge trees were toppled, the roots sticking several feet into the air. Near 1st Avenue in Trappe, some power-lines were down, others hung just feet off the ground.
Residents said while they understood the scope of the outages, it was frustrating to be without power, especially with overnight temperatures dipping into the 30s.
"(I've) been out of power like everybody else since Monday night," said neighbor Craig Fischer. "It's like a third world country, but I guess a lot of people have it a lot worse than we do."
PECO hoped to have power restored to most customers by the weekend.
But with all of the trees down and the damage to some homes, the important thing, neighbors said, is that no one was hurt.
