Philly Soccer Show: Union Winger Danny Cruz
By Greg Orlandini
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) —A new player may breathe new life into the Philadelphia Union's playoff hopes, and he is the guest on this week's KYW Philly Soccer Show.
In part one, KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch sit down with Union winger Danny Cruz.
Cruz, 22, comes to the Union from DC United, in exchange for Lionard Pajoy. Cruz talks about adjusting to the Union's system, which should be made easier considering the young winger played under Union coach John Hackworth as a youth player.

In part two, we revisit the Union's raucus 1-1 draw against DC, which saw three players red-carded, including Philadelphia's Sheanon Williams. The game even saw DC United players arguing with each other after the final whistle.
The Union has a quick turnaround as Real Salt Lake comes to PPL Park on Friday evening, with RSL currently sitting second in the tough Western Conference.
