PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –- It started in March, lasted 34 games, saw a lot of highs and lows.
And now, for the Philadelphia Union, the 2013 season is over. The team fell short of the playoffs for the second straight year.
This week on the KYW Philly Soccer Show, we look at what went right and what went wrong.
KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with Philly.com's Jonathan Tannenwald.
The Union did improve on last year's terrible season, finishing with 46 points in the standings and with their highest win total (12). But the team struggled through the final months of the season, and saw their offense disappear as the postseason slipped from view.
We talk about which players are likely to stay and who may go. And we look ahead to the MLS Draft, which will be held in Philadelphia this coming January.
The Union has four picks in the first two rounds, including the second pick overall.
And we wrap up this show with our picks for the MLS postseason.
