Philly Soccer Show: Not For Lack of Effort
By Greg Orlandini
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- The last time the Philadelphia Union won a game, it was still winter. And despite a better effort against Seattle Sounders last Saturday, they walked out of the Pacific Northwest with another loss.
On this week's KYW Philly Soccer Show, KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by Jonathan Tannenwald from Philly.com.
The Union attacked Seattle with a two forwards and a diamond midfield, the first time the team used that formation this season. And while they played some very good soccer in the first half, it just wasn't enough against the high-flying Sounders.
Then, we look ahead to the Union's matchup this Saturday, at home, to the much hated DC United.
