Philly Soccer Show: New Union Assistant Coach And MLS Re-entry Draft

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Union brought in a local guy to bolster their coaching staff. KYW Newsradio's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with Oreland, Pennsylvania native Jim Curtin.
The former MLS defender (Chicago Fire and Chivas USA) worked with the team's youth system last season and will be a fixture on the sidelines as an assistant to Manager John Hackworth in 2013.
Curtin talks about his coaching philosophy and what it will be like working with Hackworth and the other staff. He also talks about how glad he was MLS has come to Philadelphia and that he is involved with the team.

In part two...Friday, December 7th is the first phase of the MLS Re-entry Draft, where some out-of-contract players will be eligible to link up with new teams. Greg and Eli discuss what some of the options are for the Union.
One name is fan favorite and former Union captain Danny Califf. Could the tattooed defender add some leadership to the young squad?
Another possible option is 24-year-old left back Rodney Wallace. A move like that could free up Gabriel Farfan to return to the midfield.
