Philly Soccer Show: Califf Gone?
By Greg Orlandini
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — More upheaval at the Philadelphia Union with the possible departure of the team's captain, defender Danny Califf, to Chivas USA.
The KYW Philly Soccer Show tries to make sense of it all with KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writers Mike Servedio and Eli Pearlman-Storch.
In part one, we discuss where this leaves the team, both in the leadership department and in the defense. We also take a look at who the team may get in return.
Also, the Union played one of their best games of the year in the 3-2 loss to the New York Red Bulls, a game that saw the team go down to 10 men with the first-half ejection of Freddy Adu.

In part two, the Union heads to Texas to play an injury-depleted FC Dallas. With the likely departure of Califf, we look at the probable lineup the Union may play, in defense and offense. The Union have never won at Dallas.
Listen to Part 2...
In part three, the Philadelphia Fever of the WPSL take the pitch on Sunday in their first-ever game. The new women's soccer team will play its opening game at Washington Township High School in New Jersey.
Head coach Stuart Gore (right) talks with us about starting the new team. He also discusses the roster of young talent he hopes to develop.
