PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –- This week the KYW Philly Soccer Show takes a look at the Philadelphia Union from a slightly different perspective.
KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined by SportsRadio 94WIP's Spike Eskin. The three tackle some subjects about the sport, both on and off the pitch. Spike gives his insight on how the team is fitting into the Philadelphia sports scene and what the team, and MLS, could do to help increase its profile.
Then, with the team without a win in five games and only one goal to show during that span, the Union faces a very tough Sporting KC this Friday night.
A once-assured playoff spot looks very far away now as Philadelphia slips to seventh place. Each game is now a must-win as the Union hope to return to the post season.
