PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Even with Roy Halladay's struggles during Spring Training, the Phillies still have two pitchers who are among the favorites to win the National League Cy Young award.
Bovada Sports Book released their odds for Major League Baseball awards for 2013, and Cole Hamels at 10/1, and Cliff Lee at 12/1, are among the top five favorites to win the Cy Young. The favorite to win the award is Stephen Strasburg at 11/2, followed by Clayton Kershaw at 6/1, Gio Gonzalez at 10/1, Hamels, and Matt Cain and Cliff Lee at 12/1. Roy Halladay isn't far behind, even with his rough spring, at 15/1.
The Phillies don't have any players as likely to win the National League MVP. Ryan Howard is listed at 33/1, and off-season acquisition Michael Young is at 50/1.
Ryan Howard is 16/1 odds to lead the NL in home runs (favorite Giancarlo Stanton at 13/2).
Local product Mike Trout is the favorite to win the American League MVP, at 6/1 odds.
