Phillies Prospect Seeks Second Opinion On Injured Elbow
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Phillies prospect Roman Quinn is seeking a second opinion on his injured elbow.
The original MRI on Quinn's left elbow revealed an injury to the ulna collateral ligament. There is no clear indication of how long he will need to recover fully. A ruptured UCL would require Tommy John surgery.
Quinn, 24, is hitting .274 with a .344 on-base percentage in 45 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He injured his elbow diving into third base last week.
