Philadelphia Union Announce 2014 Schedule
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Union have announced their 2014 season schedule.
The Union start their season on Saturday, March 8 on the road at JELD-WEN Field against Portland Timbers.
The Union's 2014 regular season concludes Sunday, Oct. 26, followed by the MLS Cup Playoffs. Two clubs will reach MLS Cup 2014, and the one with a better regular season record will host the championship game, with details to be announced at a later date.
The Philadelphia Union finished out of the playoffs in 2013, for the second consecutive season. They finished with a record of 12-12-10.
