Philadelphia Sports Legend Dr. Jack Ramsay Dead At 89

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia basketball coaching legend Dr. Jack Ramsay has died at age 89.
Ramsay coached the St. Joseph's Hawks in 1955 and captured their first big 5 crown.
Ramsay was a graduate of Upper Darby high school in 1942.
He also graduated from St. Joseph's University.
After leaving St. Joes he was hired as a general manager of the 76ers and traded both Wilt Chamberlain and Chet Walker.
That year the 76ers won an NBA title. in 1968 , he left the front office and became the head coach of the 76ers.
In 1992 he was named to Basketball Hall of Fame.
