Philadelphia Public, Archdiocesan Schools To Open On 2-Hour Delay Thursday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Class will be back in session Thursday for students in Philadelphia.
All Philadelphia School District schools will open on a two-hour delay.
The school district says all early childhood programs also will open two hours late. After-school activities set for Thursday will continue as scheduled.
School officials are warning parents and caregivers that certain yellow bus routes may experience moderate to significant delays in the morning.
Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the city also will open on a two hour delay.
All public and Archdiocesan schools in the city were closed Wednesday due to the winter storm.
The city is expected to see 6 to 12 inches of snow before the nor'easter moves out of the region.
