Philadelphia Runners Proudly Undeterred By Boston Terrorism

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Some avid Philadelphia runners training for upcoming races say they will not change their plans to run in future races because of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.
"I think it's going to really bring the community closer together, if anything," says Drexel University student Christie (no last name given), who was training along Kelly Drive for Philadelphia's Broad Street Run on May 5th.
She says she is committed to race despite the Boston Marathon tragedy, "but I still think people are going to be on high alert because of it. But I don't think it's going to affect the races in any way -- I really don't. I just think it's going to make people support it more," she told KYW Newsradio today.
Some who will be participating in the Broad Street Run say they will give it their all to honor the victims of the Boston bombings.
