Philadelphia Robbery Suspect Killed In Police Involved Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is dead following a Tuesday evening police involved shooting in the city's Olney neighborhood.
According to police, three highway patrol officers were surveying the area in reference to a robbery near the intersection of 4th Street and West Chew Avenue when they identify a suspect who matches the description.
The officers began to pursue the suspect on foot and all three discharged their weapons when the suspect turned to fire at them.
The suspect, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
