Philadelphia Restaurant Makes List Of Nation's Most Popular Spots For Cheeseburgers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Social media site Foursquare has released a list of the top 10 cheeseburger places in the country based on check-ins, and a Philadelphia restaurant made the cut.
The list, which was compiled in honor of National Cheeseburger Day from more than 4.5 billion check-ins, lists the Piazza's PYT as number 10.
That's not surprising, considering the eatery frequently uses social media to post pictures of its weekly burger specials, such as this week's, the delicious-sounding Szechuan Lamb Burger.
Other restaurants on the list include Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Austin and the famous In-N-Out Burger in Los Angeles.
The number one burger restaurant based on Foursquare check-ins? According to the company, that honor goes to the original Shake Shack in New York City's Madison Square Park.
