Police: Suspects Robbed Then Tried To Abduct Man Off Of Philly Street
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for several suspects who they say robbed and attempted to abduct a 46-year-old man in Philadelphia.
Police say around 8 p.m. on January 11, the victim was in the area of 2200 South 7th Street when several masked men approached him. Authorities say one of the suspects then struck the man in the head with a handgun.

Police say once the victim handed over an undetermined amount of money, the suspects tried to force him into his vehicle on the 2200 block of South 7th Street.
As this was happening, a female screamed as the suspects were opening the car door. Police say her scream forced the men to flee in separate directions.
The male victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital and treated for a head laceration.
Police say the suspects are five males, ages 25-30-years-old, 5'6"-5'10", described as possibly Asian, Hispanic or Black.
The first suspect, as seen in the surveillance video, had a trimmed beard, short hair with balding on the top and was wearing a long sleeve shirt with a logo on the front.
The second suspect seen in the video was wearing a blue North Face hooded sweatshirt and reflective school laces.
