Philadelphia Police: Sibling Arrested In Beating Death Of Brother
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the beating death of a man whose body was found in the basement of a Philadelphia home Sunday.
Authorities say they arrived on scene to find victim's body wrapped in a sheet and packing material in a basement of a home in the 2100 block of Princeton Avenue, near Oxford Circle and Castor Avenue.
At this time, police say the victim's brother allegedly beat him and left the body in the basement. The unidentified suspect then called police to report the crime. It is unclear when exactly the beating happened, but police say the body may have been in the house for at least a couple days.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
