Philadelphia Police Seek Public Help Identifying Convenience Store Robbers
By Molly Daly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who robbed a 7-Eleven last week in the city's Kingsessing section.
The crime took place just before midnight on Thursday, when two men entered the store, in the 1300 block of South 57th Street, and demanded money at gunpoint.
After an undetermined amount of cash was handed over, the suspects took off, running east on Whitby Avenue.
Police want to speak to two customers who were in the store during the robbery but left before officers arrived.
Anyone with information is asked 215-686-TIPS (215-686-8477).
Surveillance video of the robbery can be seen on the Youtube channel of the Philadelphia Police Department.
