Philadelphia Police Seek Assistance In Identifying Suspects In Surveillance Video
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police released surveillance video of a Center City abduction that occurred Wednesday night and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.
The suspects were caught on tape abducting an employee from the 5 Star Parking Garage in the 700 block of Chestnut Street at about 7:30 p.m.
The 32-year-old victim told police two black men driving a Chrysler Town and Country minivan pulled up to her window. According to sources, the victim told police the men claimed to have a broken window and needed her help. She says she stepped out to investigate and that's when the men forced her into the back of the minivan and taped her hands and feet.
The victim says after about an hour, the men then drove her to Kensington near Castor and Aramingo avenues and dropped her off after taking her cell phone and debit card. The victim was not injured.
Police say surveillance video from the garage shows the victim being forced into the minivan by the suspects. The video also captured a car being stolen from the same garage.
One of the suspects is identified as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5'8", with a thin build. The second suspect is described as medium build with a beard and mustache.
The investigation is continuing.
