Philadelphia Police Searching For Suspects Believed Responsible For Multiple Armed Robberies
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are searching for four suspects wanted in connection with multiple commercial burglaries.
Authorities say the men have struck at numerous locations, including the Dollar General on Ridge Avenue in Strawberry Mansion, a Little Caesar's on Lancaster Avenue, another Dollar General on N 48th Street and a Forman Mills Store at 4800 Market Street.
In all of the robberies except the Forman Mills incident, the suspects were two black males. One is described by police as "light complected," with light brown or hazel eyes, and stands about 5'6" and 150 lbs. The second has a "dark complexion" and is about 6'1" with a thin build.
In the Forman Mills robbery, four men wearing bandanas are sought.
Police believe the same men are responsible for all of the robberies.
They are also warning the public that the men were armed with handguns in each of the incidents. In the Dollar General crime, one suspect allegedly shot a security guard in the foot.
