Philadelphia Police Searching For Suspect Who Stole 15 Bikes Following Charity Ride
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia continue to search for the suspect or suspects responsible for stealing 15 bicycles following a charity event.
Police say riders who participated in the Tour De Shore charity ride on July 28 were storing their bikes at The Irish Pub at 2011 Walnut Street.
During the early morning hours on July 30, 2013, an unknown person stole 15 bicycles that were being stored. The bikes were valued at $22,000 total.
Surveillance video captured the suspect(s) vehicle, which is described as an older model light-colored Ford pickup truck, possibly a Ranger. The vehicle was observed traveling west on the 2000 block of Moravian Street at 4:35 a.m.
