Philadelphia Police Searching For Missing Drexel Student
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Relatives of a Drexel University student say he disappeared from campus just hours before they came to help him move back home for the summer.
They say 18-year-old freshman Stevens Glemaud has been missing for more than two days.
Drexel officials say Glemaud was last seen leaving his dorm in West Philadelphia early Saturday morning. City police said Monday afternoon that there are no signs of foul play.
Marie Glemaud-Honegan says her missing brother attended an off-campus party Friday night. She says surveillance footage indicates he returned to his room early Saturday, then left a few hours later before family members arrived from West Orange, N.J.
She says he previously lost his cellphone and had not replaced it.
Drexel is a private university in Philadelphia serving about 23,500 students.
