PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - For the second time in two weeks, an innocent victim has been gunned down in the crossfire on a Philadelphia street.
Twenty-five-year-old Johnika Tiggett was shot to death hours after sharing Thanksgiving dinner with her family at their Nicetown home. Police say she was shot in the head by a stray bullet as five men, all with guns, opened fire outside a neighborhood bar.
Four suspects are now under arrest and charged with murder. A fifth suspect is still on the loose. Court records obtained by CBS 3 reveal one of the alleged killers, Roland Thompson, who has a 12-page criminal history had been paroled last August from prison where he was serving a five to 10-year sentence.
The parole board in its decision citing Thompson's "positive behavior" and "motivation for success".
