Philadelphia Police Looking For Suspects In 2 Dunkin Donuts Robberies
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects believed to be responsible for two doughnut shop robberies in Philadelphia.
The suspects reportedly entered the Dunkin Donuts store at 5401 N 5th Street around 4:20 p.m. on July 10, then jumped the counter and took $300 from the registers. One of the suspects also tried to access a safe in the office but was unsuccessful.
Both suspects fled through the rear door of the Dunkin Donuts.
Then, on July 13 at 4:47 p.m., two males entered the Dunkin Donuts at 5743 Wayne Avenue and approached the employee behind the counter with a crowbar.
One of the suspects took an unknown amount of cash from the register and again tried to access a safe unsuccessfully.
Both suspects fled the scene towards Rittenhouse Street.
The first suspect is described as a black male between 16 and 20 years old and 5'10"-5'11" tall. He has a thin build and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with #77 on the back, gloves, dark pants and a dark mask.
The second suspect is a black male about 20 years of age with a medium build. He is about 6'1" and was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, gloves, dark colored pants and a dark mask.
