Philadelphia Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Crescentville
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Northeast Philadelphia Friday night.
It happened around 11 p.m. along the 5500 block of North Hill Creek Drive in the city's Crescentville section. Officers responding to a call about a man with a gun found the 31-year-old victim lying unconscious in the street, with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police did not release the name of the victim.
So far, authorities have no suspects or a motive.
