Police Investigate Drowning Death Of 4-Year-Old
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 4-year-old boy died after drowning in a swimming pool Thursday evening, according to authorities.
Medics arrived at the scene in the 4300 block of Edgemont Street where the unidentified boy was pulled from a swimming pool. Police say medics tried to resuscitate the child, but to no avail.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
